my life I have often heard readers say OMG, have you read........It's a book I
just couldn't put down or it's a real page turner and I would think to myself
nothings that good. I had never truly read a book. I would skip pages of books I had to read...
WELL WAS I WRONG.....
I boarded my flight from Charlotte NC
to Dallas. I usually just sleep and listen to my IPod. Well I decided to grab my
book. I begin to read.....I find myself turning pages....and thinking WOW, this
is what readers are talking about.
This book is AWESOME. Kristy Cato is
AMAZINGLY TALENTED and so REAL. She actually made me feel as if I was in this
story living life right along with Carrie and Kim. I can not even begin to tell
you the range of emotions I felt as I read. I would smile, laugh and cry not
only did I remember my First Love. It made me fall deeper in Love with my
current Love....
I arrive in Dallas the book has been read. I wait for my
connecting flight. I then board, California here I come. I am so emotional. I
could not let the characters go. So I find myself reading the book
again.
KRISTY CATO...I knew this book would exceed my expectations. You
have touched my life, and have changed me for the better. I will never forget

enjoyed reading this book. It touch my heart in so many ways. From the way that
friends become lovers, but what was really interesting was both the mothers in
this story. You will feel the hurt, the love and the joys and the pain. Kristy
Cato, wrote this story so that it would touches everyone in one way or another.
If you are looking for a story that will keep you entertained, then this is the
book for you. It will make you wish for a love like this. I can not wait for the
next book that she is writing, I just hope she stays true to her passion of
writing with feeling.

Let me start by saying Kristy Cato is one of the best writer's in the world. Kristy Cato passion for writing love novels for the lesbìan community is great. When I first heard about Kristy Cato I was on fb in a group and they loved her novels and everyone should read them. I said to myself I have to get my hands on her (Kristy Cato) novels and I so happy I did. Kristy Cato has a passion for writing you can feel it in her novels some writers just put stories together not from there heart not with feeling not Kristy Cato her novels are from her heart you can feel the passion and the love she gives in each novel. Kristy Cato novel The Dance was amazing a best seller this novel mad me laugh,cry,sad and excited. It took me less than a week to read because I couldn't stop reading because her story came from her heart and touched my heart. The Dance was everything I expected and so much more. I have three of her novels I'm reading Kim's Story After The Dance now. Kristy Cato I give you 100 stars if I could but they only have five stars so you get them ALL. I always have to read review before making any purchases and to find a book with 52 positive reviews its a no brainer that this is a must read. I purchased the book on Saturday morning and was finished in one day. The characters had my attention from the very first page. I laughed, I cried and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen on the next page.

This was a beautifully written story. Love is given new life and it was shown in the purest form posible. I read the entire book in one night because I just could not tear myself away. The character description was so vivid and real that the characters are now my friends. I recognized these people. I identified with them and became invested in their lives. I read alot of books, but for some reason this book was one that I couldn't put down. I felt all different emotions ,The passion ,The love, The hurt. Is a book that took me inside the story and I was feeling and living part of it all through out till the end. The laughter , the tears, the pain,and most the meaning of real love. I purchased The Dance, My First Love by Kristy Kato on recommendation from a friend. I was so enthralled; I could not put it down. I became lost in the well developed characters. You too will feel every ounce of emotion they experience. As you read, you will find yourself so invested and rooting for Carrie. Kim seemed like an angel who came along just in time to brighten the light bulb inside those eyes and giving her perspective of humanity from a clearer view. Coincidentally, this book came along at the right time in my life and too gave me hope. <3. I can't wait for the rest in the series. Please hurry up Kristy, lol. Waiting is killing me. There aren't too many books written today, where the author spends much time in character development but instead lazily depend on tricks and gimmicks to fill the pages. This was truly written for the reader, not for Hollywood gimmicks and tricks, just a greatly developed storyline. You're let into their lives where you experience their energy and feel their hearts beat. I'm an ardent reader and patiently await more. Congratulations Kristy. Your maiden book is awesome. I have just finished reading The Dance. My beautiful woman reccomended this that she affectionately calls her 'first book', as she is a non reader and I a book junkie my curiosity was immediately piqued. I found it very hard to put down. Oh my goodness what a rollercoaster... The main character Carrie is immediately very easy to identify with. The book takes you on a journey from her emotionally starved childhood, to a young woman desperate for the unconditional love she should have recieved from her mother. I laughed with her, cried with her, felt her every joy and hurt as I followed her journey, and her first dance. Kristy's powerfully evocative writing pulls you into this young womans world and holds you there til the very end. I would strongly reccomend this book to litery lovers and non readers alike, kudos to you Kristy Cato. I anticipate your next book with baited breath.

I bought this book for my nook and I couldn't put it down . What a refreshing read. I went back to see if Kristy had more books to read but didn't find any. Then I found out there will be many more, now I just have to wait to buy them......I loved the book it was amazing. I laughed, I cried ,and I was left wanting more. Please give me more Kristy!!!!!!!!

All I can say is WOW! I haven't read a good book like this in a very long time! It took me back to my first love when everything was green and there was nothing in the world that could make me more alive. I felt as if I was in this story and could not get enough of it. I am sure I am going to read it again soon. This book left me wanting more. I am so looking forward to her next book. I sure hope a lot of people get to read this book.
